Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is known for her roles in films such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters ?. She was born in Gravesend in Greater London. Her professional career started after she received her diploma from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her first appearance was in a comedy titled 'St Trinian's'. Then, she appeared in the spy-thriller "James Bond" film , 'Quantum Of Solace'. The film was a success commercially, but it received only average reviewers. She was the main character in the action-fantasy film, 'Prince of Persia The Sands of Time" was her following. More recently, she played an supporting part for the French film "Orphan". Arterton's career has seen her recognized for many awards. The award she received was the highly coveted Empire Award for best newcomer in Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for her part as a supporting actress in Made in Dagenham.
