In the magazine Vanity Fair from July 2003 the magazine featured her as one of the hot teen stars for the year. In 2004, Vega produced two short films: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime TV movie Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she starred in the year 2005. The film was a specially-made television movie, titled Walkout. in 2007 she completed the filming of Remember the Daze which was only made available to limited theaters. Repo was her final film. The Genetic Opera was released in 2008 ([10]) Vega was confirmed to play the leading character of Helix, written and directed by Aram Rappaport, which began filming in Chicago beginning in March of 2008. Vega was initially cast as the lead in Robert Rodriguez's film Shorts. In the end, however, due to the fact that she had been located in Australia shooting Broken Hill at the time the film was required to alter her character. Kat Dennings replaced her. The actress appeared on Broadway in Hairspray, as Penny. She was Ruby Gallagher in the ABC Family sitcom Ruby & the Rockits which starred Patrick Cassidy and David Cassidy. Vega was Wick in the 2012 film The Devil's Carnival, a film written by director Darren Lynn Bousman and screenwriter Terrance Zdunich. The two previously had a relationship with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera. [12] Vega was a part of Spencer Grammer, Kathryn Morris and Rob Margolies in 2br/1ba throughout the year of 2012. Vega has also appeared as a co-star in her role in the Lifetime Channel movie The Pregnancy Project and her animated film The Clockwork Girl was completed. The Mine, a film produced by Vega and released in the year 2010 It was not shown in public to a limited audience. Vega played Christina on the animated television series Unsupervised and had a guest performance on Royal Pains. Vega played a young heroine in the music video to "Legendary Child" by Aerosmith.
