A major European actor and one of the most celebrated actresses, Carice van Houten is most likely best known for her role as 'Melisandre' in the iconic TV series Game of Thrones, a performance for which she has been honored with an Emmy Award nomination in 2019. The other projects she has been involved in are Paul Verhoeven's Valkyrie, a film produced by Bryan Singer opposite Tom Cruise as well as Melisandre from Game of Thrones.
