Aura Garrido Sanchez is a Spanish TV and film actress. She was an actress in Stockholm as well as the television series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido came into the world in Madrid in the year 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father is a conductor of orchestras and composer, while Pilar Sanchez is a painter. She began her piano lessons when she was 4 years old. Then, soon after, started practicing ballet. She can speak English because she had an english-speaking friend as a child. She was enrolled at the Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico when she completed her studies at high school. In her 3rd year she was studying interpretive and textual aspects of the program. In 2010, however she resigned from the school since she was cast in Planes para manana. The role won she the Silver Biznaga for best supporting actress, as well as a Goya Awards nomination in the best breakthrough actress category among other nominations.
